Francisca Quinn, M.Sc.
Business Manager and Sustainability Practice Leader

Francisca's experience includes 10+ years in corporate strategy, organizational development and climate change mitigation. Previously, she worked for Mercer Management Consulting in North America, a leading international management consultancy, and in London with the UK-based Carbon Trust. Francisca leverages her experience from having worked with large European organizations on carbon emissions reduction and with investors on identifying risks and opportunities from climate change. Francisca is the driving force behind Loop’s work on sustainability program design, sustainability performance management and carbon emissions insights.

Peter Halsall, P.Eng.
Founder and President of Loop Initiatives and President of Halsall Associates

Peter has been championing sustainability as a core value in the organization since the 1990s. He founded Loop in 2007 to help others overcome the obstacles in incorporating sustainability into their activities.

Shawn Carr, B.A.Sc.
Project Manager and Employee Engagement Specialist

Shawn specializes in education, communication and technology relating to the implementation of sustainability. Prior to joining Loop, Shawn worked for a consulting firm as a manager for education program delivery, including e-learning.

Jessica Fisher, MAES
Green Business Consultant

Jessica holds a Masters degree in Applied Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and has experience in energy efficiency projects and resource conservation initiatives. At Loop, Jessica specialises in carbon emissions analysis and sustainability performance indicator development and measurement.

Caryn Levin, B.Eng.
Green Business Consultant

With a background in civil engineering, Caryn contributes to Loop's work as it relates to carbon emissions analytics, carbon offset development and supply chain analysis. From her previous role with a green marketing agency, Caryn is an experienced contributor to the development of internal and external sustainability reports, marketing and print media content, and employee training materials.

Charlotte Davis, B.A., LLB
Communications Specialist

Charlotte is an experienced writer and editor who has written compelling copy for a wide variety of publications, including annual reports, newsletters and brochures. She contributes to Loop’s development of best-in-class materials for internal and external sustainability communications.

Syma Kharal, B.Sc. (Hons), PR Grad. Cert.
Corporate Communications Specialist

Syma is an accomplished Communications Specialist who is passionate about writing. With award-winning projects and a diverse range of experience in public relations and marketing, Syma brings her creativity and communications savvy to the Loop team. She graduated with honours from Sheridan College’s Corporate Communications Graduate Certificate program and completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with distinction from the University of Toronto. Syma is committed to a green way of life and takes daily measures to be environmentally responsible.

Kian Tang, B.Des.
Graphic Designer

Well-versed in both print and web-based communications, Kian brings a fresh approach to Loop's internal and external sustainability visual communications. Prior to joining the Loop team, Kian designed and art directed diverse visual communications projects for several award-winning graphic design studios. He holds a Bachelor of Design degree from the Ontario College of Art & Design and a certificate in New Media Design from Sheridan College. Kian is committed to keeping abreast of green branding issues and sustainability trends.
